One form, every desk. The form on this page drops your message straight into the NewsWibe newsroom system — nothing is posted publicly, and a person reads everything that arrives. Pick the topic that fits; it decides which queue you land in and how fast the right person sees it.
Send a message
Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Use a reply address you control and actually check: when an answer is needed, the desk answers by email. We cannot promise publication, a reply or a fixed response time — but precise, checkable messages jump the queue.
Make your message land
- News tips: what happened, where, when, who is affected — and how it can be verified. A document, a public record or a named witness turns a tip into a story. Sending something sensitive? Say whether you are on the record before you hit send.
- Corrections: the headline, the exact link, the sentence or number you say is wrong, and the fix you believe is right, with a source if you have one. Our Corrections policy shows how challenges are judged and how fixes are displayed.
- Legal and rights notices: name the page, the material and the right you hold. Notices are logged the day they arrive and passed to the publisher’s office.
- Privacy requests: put “Privacy” in the subject line and tell us what information you mean. The Privacy Policy lists your rights and how requests are handled.
- Advertising and services: your organisation, the goal, the dates and the formats or service you have in mind — the Advertise and Services pages show what exists.
Do not send bulk attachments, marketing lists, other people’s private data, or anything you have no right to share. Never send passwords or card numbers through this form.
Post and office
NewsWibe is published from 1411 N Sterling Ave, Palatine, IL 60067, United States. Postal mail for the publisher’s office should name the desk — Editorial, Corrections, Advertising or Legal. Anything urgent should come through the form; paper moves at paper speed.
How fast we answer
Messages are reviewed on business days. Factual corrections are acknowledged ahead of general correspondence; legal and privacy requests are logged on receipt; commercial enquiries get a reply with next steps or a straight no. If the matter is urgent — safety, or a live news event — begin the subject line with URGENT and put the deadline in your first line.
Corrections from readers make our stories better and tips start them. However you reach us, thanks for bothering.
After you press send
The system stamps your message with the topic you chose and parks it in that desk’s queue. It is read by a person, in the order corrections and legal notices demand, then everything else. If we need documents, a clearer claim or a right of reply, the reply names the editor asking. If the answer is no — we cannot help, cannot publish, cannot share that — we send the no rather than silence. Privacy requests are dated in the log on arrival; that log is what our response times are judged against.
Other outlets, researchers, organisers
Journalists, academics and event organisers use the same door. Start the subject line with your organisation’s name, choose the nearest topic, and for interview requests give the subject, format and deadline in the first two lines. We do not discuss unpublished reporting, confidential sources or live standards investigations beyond what our published policies already say — asking through a side channel does not change that, so save yourself the stamp.
Visits, placements and accessibility
The newsroom is a working desk, not a visitor attraction; we cannot host tours. Work-experience and internship enquiries are read when sent through the form with the subject line beginning PLACEMENT, but places are few and competitive, and we answer only where there is a realistic opening. If any page, form or document on this site is inaccessible to you because of a disability, tell us through the form what you need and in what format; we will supply the same content another way without charge or argument.
