NewsWibe is a working headlines desk, and through the 24World Media network it is also a services business: distribution, sponsored storytelling, advertising and research for organisations that need to be heard accurately. This page sets out what we offer and the rules every engagement runs under.
Announcement and press release distribution
Companies, institutions, agencies and public figures can place announcements with NewsWibe and, where the story earns it, across sister publications in the 24World Media network. We handle results and appointments, product and research launches, public-interest campaigns, event news and on-the-record responses to developing stories.
An editor reads everything before it runs. We publish what is accurate, checkable and genuinely newsworthy; we edit for length, clarity, house style and legal safety, and we decline material that misleads or cannot be verified. Paid placements are labelled on the page. Start through the Contact page (choose the distribution or advertising topic) with your draft and the documents behind it — releases with evidence attached are assessed fastest.
Sponsored content, made properly
Our producers build sponsored features — interviews, explainers, sector briefings and data stories — written by journalists to newsroom factual standards and published with clear sponsorship labels. Sponsorship buys production and placement, never a conclusion: the feature cannot promise a verdict about your market, and it does not soften our news coverage of it. If you need coverage of a claim, the claim has to survive the same verification as any news story.
Advertising
NewsWibe sells standard display formats across homepage, section fronts and articles, including large billboard units built for mobile-first reading. Everything is labelled “Advertisement”. We refuse pop-unders, auto-playing audio, fake buttons and creative that imitates editorial. Formats and house rules are on the Advertise page, along with booking mechanics and deadlines.
Licensing and syndication
Publishers, aggregators and internal communications teams may license NewsWibe and network reporting for republication under a written licence, supplied with original text, cleared images where rights allow, and attribution requirements. Republishing or scraping our work without a licence breaches our Terms of Service. Licensing requests go through the Contact page.
Monitoring and research briefings
The network research desk prepares coverage digests and background briefings for communications teams: who is reporting what on your sector, company or issue, and on what evidence. Deliverables are factual, sourced and readable — one-off or on a schedule agreed in writing.
How an engagement runs
- Tell us the goal. Contact page, the topic that fits, dates and documents included.
- Editorial check. We confirm suitability and the verification we need, and agree scope, labelling and schedule in writing before anything is produced.
- Draft and check. You see the draft for factual checking of names, numbers and quotes. Style and headline stay editorial decisions.
- Live and reported. You receive the URL(s) and, for campaigns, a plain placement report.
The standing rules
Every service is governed by the documents published on this site: Code of Ethics, Corrections policy, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and Website Disclaimer. Commercial work never buys news coverage, never kills a story and never changes a fact. Where a client request and the public record disagree, the record wins, and we will say so.

Alerts, digests and the wire habit
Teams that live on fast information take our alert and digest products: graded breaking alerts the moment a story is confirmed, scheduled digests that compress a desk’s output into one readable brief, and machine-readable feeds for newsrooms and monitoring platforms, all under written licence. Correction notices ride the same rails at the same priority as the original alert — if you took the story, you take the fix, automatically. Feed clients choose desks and urgency bands, so a markets desk is not woken for entertainment and a newsroom wallboard can carry everything.
Production support for lean newsrooms
Small publishers commission our producers for overnight page building, live coverage of set-piece events — elections, budgets, finals, launches — translation, and archive digging. The work is done by journalists under this site’s Code of Ethics and delivered into your systems in your templates, credited the way the licence says. You keep your voice; we supply the hours and the checking habit.
Money, scope and straight answers
Everything is quoted in writing against a defined scope before work begins: volume, formats, desks, hours. There are no placement fees for news coverage because news coverage is not for sale at any price. Where a request clashes with our standards — an unlabelled advertorial, a claim we cannot verify, a request to bury a story — the answer is no, given early and in plain language, before anyone has spent money.
What we need from you
Good output starts with clean input. For distribution: the release text, the named spokesperson, the documents behind the numbers, and one human who can answer a verification call. For sponsored work: the claims you want made, the evidence for each, and the person authorised to confirm them. For feeds and monitoring: your desks, your keywords and your escalation hours. Where evidence is thin we will say so before production, and a claim that cannot be evidenced comes out — the byline on the finished piece is ours, and so is the correction if it turns out wrong.
