American voters have told Nigel Farage that the country needs “fresh blood”, as voters prepare to turn out in New Hampshire in the second Republican primary ballot.
Former US President Donald Trump secured his first victory in Iowa on Monday, after winning over 50 per cent of the vote at the state’s caucus.
Ron DeSantis took second place with 21 per cent of the vote, and Nikki Haley came in third with 19 per cent.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds backed DeSantis following the result, declaring the Florida Governor is “not done yet”.

DeSantis told voters in Iowa he had his “ticket punched out of Iowa”, and vowed to “not let the voters down”.
GB News presenter Nigel Farage spoke to voters at the Iowa caucus, as Americans revealed who they are supporting in the Presidential election, taking place on November 5.
The residents of Iowa gave a mixed response, but highlighted one of the main issues affecting their votes are the cost of living and border control.
In support of runner-up Ron DeSantis, one voter told Nigel: “I’m open minded at the moment, but I’m leaning towards Ron DeSantis at this point.
“He’s a proven leader. He’s done a lot of great things in Florida, and I think his approach for securing our border and stopping the flow of drugs that are killing our kids coming in is a very important thing.”
The voter warned that America needs to “get control of our government. Right now we don’t have that control.”
Nigel asked the man if former leader Donald Trump has a possibility to be POTUS again after securing the win in Iowa.
He replied: “Trump was the right choice for 2016, but for now, we need to have fresh blood.”
