The prospect of another Democrat replacing Joe Biden as the party’s presidential nominee is minimal, a political expert has claimed.
The 81-year-old is the country’s oldest ever sitting president and his ability to carry out the job for another four years has been thrown into question after a series of gaffes.
But Biden insists he remains as capable as ever, and the US President will be emboldened by a lack of alternatives, according to James Johnson.
He told GBN America that nobody is in the offing, and his Vice President also poses very little danger.

“It’s something that I think a lot of people are asking”, he said.
“I think if we’re going to see it, we would have seen it by now.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:
“We’ve now got the primary season underway and we’ve got Joe Biden with a big lead in delegates.
“The big question is, what happens at the Democratic National Convention? Is there going to be an uprising against Joe Biden?
“I find it hard to see how the numbers work there because what is the event that gets 60 per cent of Joe Biden’s delegates to go against him?
“I just can’t see what would unlock them. Would it be a health event? At the moment, Biden has that loyalty.”

Mooted alternatives include former First Lady Michelle Obama, but her office confirmed she will not be standing in Joe Biden’s way.
Her husband, Barack Obama, also confirmed he is “all in” for Biden’s re-election effort as he gears up for a probable rematch with 2020 election opponent Donald Trump.
In a statement to NBC News earlier this week, Michelle Obama reined in any prospect of her running for office.
“As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president,” said Crystal Carson, director of communications for her office.
“Mrs. Obama supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ re-election campaign.”
Biden, along with Trump, appears no longer to have any barriers in his path to his party nomination.
Trump managed to rid himself this week of his last potential stumbling block, with Nikki Haley bowing out of the race after a chastening Super Tuesday.
