Fast bowler Navdeep Saini is set to miss a few matches for his English county side Worcestershire next month after being included in the Indian squad for the West Indies tour. Navdeep Saini will miss three county matches due to a clash in schedule with the Test series in the West Indies.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named a 16-member squad for the upcoming two-match Test series in the Caribbean. Meanwhile, County Cricket Team Worcestershire announced that they had signed Navdeep Saini for the next four matches in the County Championship.

The 30-year-old is set to miss at least three matches in the County Championship due to national commitments. He is expected to be released from the squad to play for his country.
“There is always a clause for any international player that if he is called up for national duty, he would be released. Hence, Worcestershire won’t be able to avail Saini’s services for the said tenure,” a BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
