Mumbai Indians (MI) snatched victory from the jaws of defeat against Rajasthan Royals (RR). MI won the match by 6 wickets in 19.3 overs. RR’s rising batter Yashasvi Jaiswal would be unhappy that his maiden ton went into vain. Yashasvi Jaiswal was quite fearless in the knock of 124 runs in 62 balls as he smashed 16 fours & 8 sixes.

MI’s batters took their time and went berserk. Cameron Green set the stage on fire early in the run chase as he scored 44 runs in 26 balls. Suryakumar Yadav showed intent from ball 1 as he smashed a six on the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin.

Suryakumar Yadav smashed a scintillating half-century as he struck 55 runs in 29 balls as he struck 8 fours & 2 sixes. Tim David against the run of play smashed 3 back to back sixes in the last over to Jason Holder and won the game for MI. Tim David played a blinder of a knock of 45 runs in 14 balls as he struck 2 fours & 5 sixes.

RR’s destructive left-handed batter Yashasvi Jaiswal was toying with the MI’s bowling lineup. Yashasvi Jaiswal smashed 124 runs in 62 balls as he struck 16 fours & 8 sixes. RR managed to post a massive score of 212-7. Piyush Chawla bowled impeccable lines & lengths as he took 2 wickets and gave away 34 runs in his 4-over spell.

During the post-match presentation, Yashasvi Jaiswal was quite grateful to God for giving him the opportunity in IPL. Yashasvi Jaiswal pointed out that he keeps himself mentally prepared and also stated that playing straight drive & cover drive gives him a lot of confidence.

“When I scored the century, I didn’t know that ball had gone to the boundary. So when that happened, I just thanked God for the opportunity, I always had this dream, wanted to work on the process and work hard. Results will follow,” said Yashasvi Jaiswal.
