The poll also reveals that one in four (26 per cent) of GB News viewers who voted Conservative in 2019 have now switched to Reform, as Richard Tice’s party continues to build momentum.

The study also indicated Nigel Farage is viewed more positively among GB News viewers than Starmer, Sunak and Boris Johnson.

But even the former UKIP leader was in negative territory overall in a poll which illustrates a negative climate for views of politicians of any ilk.

The findings underline the huge task now facing Mr Sunak at the next General Election.

The Prime Minister is yet to reveal when he will ask the country to go to the polls.

Earlier this week, GB News presenters Nigel Farage and Jacob Rees Mogg both predicted the PM would hold a General Election this Summer.

Based on the intentions of GB News viewers an election would end with a hung parliament and Labour 18 seats short of a majority.

The poll also shows how GB News viewers had more faith in Labour being able to solve the cost of living crisis, fix the NHS, and sort out the UK’s housing issues.

However the Conservatives remain more trusted on tackling illegal migration, reducing inflation and growing the economy.

The poll also revealed improving the NHS was the viewers’ number one priority, but they also care strongly about stopping illegal migration and small boat crossings.

Three quarters (73 per cent) of GB News viewers think immigration is too high, while 18 per cent say it is about right.

And two thirds (66 per cent) of GB News viewers think the government should spend more on the NHS.

Seven in 10 (72 per cent) also said the government is not tough enough when it comes to dealing with crime.

On the ECHR, 49 per cent of viewers think the UK should remain a remember but 36 per cent disagree and 15 per cent are unsure.
