The estranged husband of Ian Blackford’s lover has revealed that she said he was “unfit to be a politician.”
Eric Boyle accused the former SNP Westminster leader of “stealing” his wife Kim Lyons and that he looked like a “weeble.”
Boyle, 64, has been married to Lyons, 63, for almost 14 years but she is believed to have begun a relationship with Blackford late last year.
He told The Scottish Mail that his estranged wife would say “there he is, the weeble” every time the former SNP leader in the House of Commons appeared on television.

He said: “It’s important Ian is exposed for who he is. He should not be in the position he is. How can you be an MP when you’re stealing some other man’s wife? It makes him a hypocrite.
“It is not love, it can’t be love. She calls him a weeble… Why would she say things like that and then go and be with him if not for the money?”
Blackford left his wife, Ann, and is said to have introduced Lyons to other MPs on the House of Commons terrace on New Year’s Eve.
The 62-year-old MP for Ross, Skye and Lochaber and is said to have first met Lyons while they were in their teens, before they met again and reconnected in later life.
The couple were pictured in January grinning and strolling hand in hand outside the BBC studios in London. Blackford’s wife is also said to have been left distraught by the separation.

Boyle said he discovered his wife had left a review for a property in Hawick, when he believed she had been staying with friends in Edinburgh for a Bay City Rollers concert. He has suggested that she was having a liaison with Blackford and was unconvinced by her explanation.
He added: “She said she just wanted to go to Hawick to see what it was like as they’ve done new flood defences there…I wasn’t satisfied with the answer but I let it go because she would fly off the handle.”
The jilted lover claimed he had been left “absolutely devastated” by the breakdown in his marriage, saying he had lost four stone in weight.
GB News has approached Blackford for a comment in relation to these allegations.
Back in November, Blackford launched into a furious rant about a missing £655billion

Back in November, Blackford launched into a furious rant about a missing £655billion, which would have come in EU funding before Brexit.
Speaking in a debate on Levelling Up, the former SNP Wesmintster Leader bemoaned a lack of funding from the Government, saying EU money would have “made such a difference”.
He added: “That money would have come if we had stayed in the European Union, as Scotland voted to do. We are missing out on €750billion that the EU was investing in regeneration, and once again we are getting nothing—zip—from this Tory Government.”
Responding, MP Jacob Young said Blackford “was wrong”, adding: “I shall write to him following the statement on exactly how much UK shared prosperity funding his area has received, and I hope that when I do, he will come back to the Chamber to update the House on the facts of the matter.”
